After reading @Sabn512's tournament report from the Prime held at Pastimes in Niles, IL on January 4, 2020, I decided to give this deck a try! I made one minor change, mostly because it seems droids are not as big a thing as they were: I removed 1 Electromagnetic Pulse and replaced it with 1 Mislead.

I brought it to a Friday night 3-round casual tourney at my LGS, then took it to the Madison, WI Prime the next day, Jan. 25. In those two outings, the deck has a barely winning record (5 wins, 4 losses) but that's not the list's fault -- that's all on me, because I just didn't have enough reps with the deck to do it justice. Nevertheless, here's a brief summary of my games with it:

Local 3-round tourney: 2-1

G1: Win vs. Enfys Nest + 2 Marauders. Targeted Enfys first to get her scoundrel die resolution ability off the table.

G2: Loss vs. Maul Mando. Not much you can do when Maul rolls 3s!! Haha!

G3: Win vs. 5-die droids (eChopper, eC-3PO, rR2D2). Round 1, my opponent and I spiked each others' R2s for 5 and 6 damage, respectively. But I ended up switching to target Chopper instead, as he was bristling with Grappling Arms, and whatnot. This game demonstrated that even when R2 takes heavy damage and is eliminated early, there's no need to panic, as long as you build up Obi-Wan with upgrades and hang on to key extra-damage cards like Ataru Strike, Draw Closer, and Finishing Strike.

6-round Swiss Prime: 3-3

I’m Board Games in Middleton, WI is a great store! Spacious, comfortable play area, well-stocked store, very nice bathrooms…The store owner and TO were great. Even though everyone was bummed that this would be the last Destiny Prime at the store, it was quite a festival! The door prizes were generous (half a dozen booster packs and a handful for Star Wars trinkets). During the games the TO came around distributing stacks of alt art promo cards and booster packs for every player. Between every round they held a raffle and awarded much incredible Destiny swag—playmats, booster boxes, token sets, etc. I came home with the Kylo Rey 2-player playmat from Awakenings, the Mr. Bones playmat, a Way of the Force booster box, 8 or 9 booster packs, and a spread of alt art promo cards old and new. Even the competitor who placed last was rewarded handsomely for persevering until the end: a Mr. Bones playmat, a stack of alt arts, more booster packs. My opponents were all gracious and fun to play, and I had some nice chats with familiar faces & strangers alike. A lovely day!

G1: Loss vs. Palp Watto. My opponent was a very nice but apparently highly caffeinated young man who played so fast I could barely keep up!! Ha!! He was awesome!! Maybe my mistake was not bursting down Watto first to shut off the mad resource generation of this deck! I could have and perhaps should have. My opponent controlled Obi-Wan's dice very well and put tons of abilities on Palp. By the time I had built a decent board state, he was able to Fatal Blow Obi for 9 dmg. Ouch! 0-1

G2: Loss vs. Iden Beckett. Really close game that went to time. Resets with Admiral on Iden hurt me quite a bit, but I shot myself in the foot with a major sequencing error in an early round: Had Ataru Strike in hand, zero resources, 3 shields on Obi. I activated Obi and got 1 resource and 3 melee. Next turn, I should have resolved the resource and then on the turn after that played Ataru Strike for 6 dmg. Instead, I resolved the 3 melee. Caught my mistake after my opponent had already taken his next action. Whoops. 0-2 My plan is to submarine into the top cut LOL…

G3: Win vs. Yoda Leia mill. Very exciting game. I don’t mind playing against mill, because I consider the discard just another form of “damage.” Last round I had zero in the deck and 1 card in hand, Yoda was defeated and Leia had 7 health remaining. I activate Obi-in-beast mode, roll lethal damage: both Obi dice on 3-melee-for-1, 2 melee on one of his upgrades, 2 melee on another upgrade, special on Obi’s saber. Opponent plays First Aid. I spend my last resource to deal the 7 melee damage. He plays Field Medic. I resolve the Obi’s Lightsaber special for 3. He plays Field Medic again. I activate R2 and turn Obi’s remaining die to the free 3 melee side. Whew for the win. After this, an onlooker pointed out that I forgotten to take my beginning-of-round resources! Hahaha! The game would have been over sooner if I had not been so frazzled that I forgot how to play! 1-2

G4: Win vs. Palp Motti. My opponent shut Obi down completely for the first two rounds, but in Round 3 I played Ataru Strike—correctly!—for 6 damage. Twice. Plus, while my opponent mitigated Obi’s dice I was at least able to play upgrades on him, and they were rolling in my favor. By the end of the game R2 had 1 health remaining, Obi was undamaged. When I defeated Palp, my opponent conceded, because Motti has no way to deal damage. 2-2. Here comes the submarine…Ha!

G5: Loss vs. Snoke Mudtrooper Mando. I chose to target Snoke first in order to shut off his PA, and Mislead came in handy. Obi and R2 were too slow to ramp, though, and I just couldn’t generate enough damage before Obi was defeated. R2 was then a squishy target because I had been assigning indirect damage to him. Oh, well! 2-3 now and out of range of the top cut!

G6: Win vs. Palp Motti. Apparently, this deck is good into Red Palp! Plus I was finally figuring out how to play it better. 3-3

Placed 17th out of 30 players. Not a sterling record, but it was a great day! The addition of Mislead was useful, and I didn't regret only having 1 Electromagnetic Pulse.

I have some photos of the event, but I don't know how to include them in this report. Little help?
