I’ve seen a few Obi/R2 combos. But haven’t seen any utilising single die R2 and Fathful Companions. With R2 and the plot you can turn both of Obi Wan’s dice to 3melee (free). If Obi rolls well, you can use the plot to trigger his shield effect a second time instead.
The rest of the deck is personal preference. I’m enjoying Niman mastery, and redeploy weapons seem good. But it can be changed a lot.
