This is an interesting, fun match up. Pryce provides support to build up Jango, and turn his dice to do more damage. That and Pryce can special chain with the vast number of specials on Jango/Speeder Tank.
Admiral is an interesting addition to the deck as it makes Pryce an even bigger threat. Making neither character the correct choice to go after.
3-1 Standings - Aug 6/19
NOTE: Seeing as this was the week after GenCon, I put Umbaran Hover Tank in place of Admiral and Targeting Astromech in place of a second Dead Or Alive to combat the Ewok uprise. Surprisingly I faced no Ewok decks, so I may remove one of the supports to return Admiral back into play.

Game 1: Win - eThrawn/ePryce - Salt Flats

  • Round 1: was able to get out Bounty Hunter Mask, and 1 Vambraces dealing 5 damage to Thrawn, and mitigating his dice. Ended the round with no damage on either character.

  • Round 2: Was able to get out more upgrades and hold Thrawn back via mitigation. However, with Cultural Records Thrawn was able to remove some of my upgrades and Bacta Therapy. Opponent claimed early, allowing me to play Slave 1 for 2 using AR. Opponent dealt quite a lot of damage to Pryce.
  • Round 3: No mitigation, opponent was able to kill off Pryce, and deal a lot of damage to Jango. Thrawn died early this round and was not able to get out as much damage as before hand.

Game 2: Win - eDryden Vos/Pryce - Salt Flats

  • Round 1: I was able to get out some equipment on Jango, while mitigating all of Dryden's dice to keep the opponent from playing heavy supports for free. Dealt about 4 damage to Dryden

  • Round 2: Keep Dryden at bay, and from using his special. Played more upgrades on Jango, and was able to get Slave 1 out again via AR. Opponent played Admiral on Pryce, in which they reset Dryden, getting the Superlaser Siege Cannon out for free. I dealt 9 more damage to Dryden, all while mitigating dice, killing off Dryden and going to the next round. Pryce received some damage from opponent as well, but not enough to kill.

  • Round 3: With 5 upgrades on Jango, I was able to use bacta therapy to heal Jango, and continue to deal damage. Used Pulse Canno's Power action to get Pryce's health down to zero.

Game 3: Win - R2D2/eC3PO/eSatine - Theeds
This game was quite difficult, but Bacta Therapy came in clutch and kept Jango alive to kill off the droids.

  • Round 1: Was able to play bounty hunter mask and armor plating on Jango quickly. Dead or Alive was placed on 3PO to gain resources upon activation. Opponent was able to get out 2 vehicles, and spike off the two shields and armor plating. I was able to deal 6 damage to 3PO.

  • Round 2: Played two more upgrades on Jango (Vambraces and Jet Pack),finishing off 3PO early on. More supports came into play on the opponent's side, and mitigation from mine. Was able to play Slave 1 via AR to remove more dice from the opponent. A Sinister Peace came in handy this game with the large quantity of high value support dice, and Electroshock was useful to remove specials and Entourage dice.

  • Round 3: Dealt more damage to R2, and was able to get more upgrades on Jango. Opponent rolled quite well and was able to hit some damage onto Pryce and Jango. However, with 4 upgrades on Jango, bacta therapy healed much of the damage done. More supports came out, as R2 neared his death.

Round 4: R2 dies early on. Yet another bacta therapy was able to block even more damage.

Game 4: Lose - eR2D2/C3PO/eChopper - Theeds Palace

  • Overview: Had terrible starting hand (3 supports, and 2 upgrades), and not much mitigation the rest of the game. Opponent was able to put up damage to my characters, without much resistance. Jango died round 2, and Pryce was unable to hold her own especially against Convergence which removed Slave 1 from play, and a Jetpack played on Pryce after Jango was defeated.

Overall, this deck is a lot of fun. There are a few things I plan to change for the future, but I believe it is a solid deck that can ramp up pretty quickly.

If anyone has any suggestions, that would be much appreciated. :)

“There are a few things I plan to change for the future, but I believe it is a solid deck that can ramp up pretty quickly.” Key phrase to finish please...

Eager to hear your battle report. Tx. For the detailed write up. Always like Pryce. She is pulling double duty in some decks all ready, but Jango is still without a home. The Jango Dengar Trilogy deck looks really thematic, but this is looking rather good as well. Gl.

Has rout been pulling weight?

@General Vatutin I agree that Pryce is a great character that can pull off some heavy blows with her specials.

This week, I did not play as well as I had hoped, as I swapped my zero cost cards for more expensive mitigation. Unfortunately, I believe this hurt me severely as I was lacking in resources for both mitigation and upgrades. That and Umbaran Hover Tank has yet to see play, so I may replace that with 1 copy of In The Crosshairs for more useful purposes.

Rout has surprisingly worked out well, but more late game really. It can be devastating when there are 4 dice upgrades on Jango.
