Seeker Droid Swarm with Deck Analysis

The mythical villain one-turn-kill is competitive. Don't believe me? It has taken on both an Aphra/Executioner/Executioner deck and a Yoda/Cassian/Anakin deck and been victorious both times. The concept of the deck is the same as it has ever been, but with some new tools from Way of the Force, it has become more potent.

Characters

Seventh Sister - Agile Inquisitor: Upon reactivation, provides an additional seeker droid to your growing swarm.

Executioner: With 8 health and 50% useable and uncounted sides, the executioner is an excellent damage shield and price of failure target.

Nute Gunray - Separatist Viceroy: The classic character to be used with leadership.

Battlefield

Secluded Beach - Scarif: Provides your opponent no benefit should they choose your battlefield. On the other hand, it provides you with the benefit of removing a vehicle or character die showing ranged damage.

Upgrades

ID9 Seeker Droid:

Shoto Lightsaber:

Z6 Riot Control Baton:

Ancient Lightsaber:

Force Illusion:

Events

Leadership: Exhaust Nute to ready Seventh Sister and bring in an additional ID9 Seeker Droid.

The Price of Failure: Defeat one of your characters to ready Seventh Sister and bring in an additional ID9 Seeker Droid.

Feint: Typically best if played later in the game, activate Seventh Sister, and ready her, leaving a seeker droid die in the pool, which could deal upwards of 5 damages itself.

Boundless Ambition: Excellent for drawing into leadership and price of failure to execute the one-turn-kill play unexpectedly.

Strategy

The goal when playing a one-turn-kill style deck is to utilize your support characters as damage shields long enough to fully equip your primary character before executing the price of failure, leadership, and feint plays. Play defensively until your feel comfortable that you can deal lethal damage to your opponent. This is important because if you execute the one-turn-kill play and are unable to defeat your opponent's primary character, you will be dealing with a lower health pool and will have a number of mitigation cards be ineffective (for instance, if you price of failure the executioner before playing cannon fodder, that will be a dead card). Thus play carefully and pay attention to what you have played. Distribute damage as best you can between characters and make your opponent rage quit with a nasty one-turn-kill.
