I’m Curious how that Palpatine match went. Seems like 3 char deck with the indirect damage sides would be great against him.

Great question!

First, I want to say that I always find Palpatine - Galactic Emperor a scary opponent no matter what deck I'm playing from the sheer damage he is able to do. Second, I want to give all the respect to my opponent that was running palp. He is a great player and has been rocking palp as his main deck for a while (I would say he is a Palpatine enthusiast :P ).

As far as the match itself... I drew into Delve and Planetary Bombardment in my opening hand which would be a nightmare for palp to deal with all game. He rolled out palp and hit a discard. He took that two discard as his next action and hit the planetary bombardment. I had no other vehicles to play in my hand so I stockpiled resources to play big stuff in round 2. I start round 2 with 6 resources, a Fang Fighter and a ARC-170 Starfighter in my hand. My opponent then plays Abandon All Hope as his first action. I chose to lose resources as I can get them back easily with Snoke's power action. Between those two plays though my opponent had too much momentum on me after the first two rounds. He was able to maintain that lead till the end of the match. Once again, all due respect to my opponent. He played a clean game and beat me fair and square.

Well done, sir.
