I'm going crazy looking into how Snoke - Supreme Leader can be used. With this build, I'm looking at a complete disrupt of my opponent while trying to manage a steady flow of damage to my target.
Blockade looked very intriguing to me. Way better than anything Nute Gunray - Separatist Viceroy could bring to the table. On top of that, red got a lot of new toys in the new set - villain and hero alike. 3 wide with Snoke might be a good way to go to include red, but I wanted something simple, poignant, and efficient.
Any parter with Snoke - Supreme Leader is going to be a threat. Any. Captain Phasma - Ruthless Tactician was the pair for Snoke I wanted, with the cost I wanted to include Blockade.
Local Garrison has been a card I have wanted to play ever since Awakenings. The times I have gotten to fool around in casual play with it has proven how oppressive this card can be.
Force Rend, on top of the resource's Snoke and Torment can generate, on top of the focus from Snoke, AND on top of choking resources from your opponent (assuming Local Garrison is on the board) makes this card a monster. IF your opponent gets out an upgrade, this will rip it right back off. All their struggling for nothing! Heavily recommend to mulligan for this in opening hand. Slow play it though.
With the idea of choking resources and little upgrade support, most of the removal package deals with removing character dice. Your Skills Are Complete is a fringe card. I find it even more oppressive that if they get your Force Rend off the board you can still shut down their upgrade.
Become One seems to be an under-rated card right now. For any type of Snoke/Yoda build, when you don't need that focus, 2 damage from hand added to what is showing can be brutal. Especially if you just used Snoke's power action on another die.
Mainly theory craft here, but it is tied to actual game play with the cards and characters. If someone has a more active meta than I do (I'm still on Thrawn/Snoke IRL) let me know how this plays out!
