Yet another attempt at a Tarkin - Grand Moff deck. Every other attempt hasn't been able to stand up to the hyper aggressive meta.

This time, we pair with Anakin Skywalker - Conflicted Apprentice. Not quite the craziness of Seventh Sister - Agile Inquisitor with all Seeker Droid Dice, but Ani does bring 3 damage sides (as a villain) his 2 and pay for 2 edge him out over Kylo Ren - Vader's Disciple at the same cost. Kylo Ren - Tormented One is a better fit, but then someone is moving to 1 die and Tarkin wants all the dice he can have. Ani is also Trilogy/Standard change over proof (for now), in fact the deck could go trilogy without losing a ton.

For battlefield, I went with Starship Graveyard - Jakku. Most of the upgrades are villain, and often times they are your best choice to chuck. Add in Ani's discars, and you should be set. It also really helps mitigate mill decks, you can play a long time on 1 card in a worst case scenario. Since we can now recycle key upgrades, the Espionage plot is basically free so why not.

Upgrades, we are looking for cheap and melee. Crossguard Lightsaber fits here, and may be enough reason to switch back to Kylo1, time will tell. Those pay sides make me want an Electrostaff; Tarkin likes Fragmentation Grenades to pile on the indirect and to Power Action. Heirloom Lightsabers are just bad ass, serious game changers.Imperial Discipline is really there for s. +1 and are decent, and don't forget you can use the action to flip another die to resources if needed (& great way to backdoor into a power action). #Praetorian Guard brings from red and Guardian is really good. Serious, a key guardian play can cripple an opponent.

I included Probe Droids just for cheap dice- Tarkin wants dice, these guys are cheap, have multiple identical sides, and even offer a that can be power actioned along with Anakin's die so you don't have to discard.

Events: Leadership & The Price of Failure allow a loaded up Anakin to wreck face multiple times in a turn, AKA One Turn Kill (OTK). Tarkin compliments OTK well because he can still power action while exhausted (not so much dead, though so use it before you price him). Blue villain unlocks the power of dice. I like to use Manipulate while already showing one blank, then Anger to resolve their die, then power action on my two blanks for 4 - such a huge swing.

Also, Feint pairs well with Guardian from Praetorian Guard; you can grab a black side die, take a small hit to spoil a blue side combo, then stand back up like it never happened. Intimidate & Frighten burn through shields, the bane of .

Questions & Comments welcome, I will keep updating as I play.
