I've been trying to find a recipe that works with Tarkin/Sister, as I've loved the combo since Legacies dropped, but I've had a hard time getting consistency out of the deck.

I started by limiting the number of non-damage upgrades, even though they're great for Tarkin Power Action consistency, they're ultimately of limited use past the mid game. Even the Fragmentation Grenade, which can be a huge value card, loses a massive amount of value the first time one of your Chance Cubes gets Vandalized, since every time you want to resolve it, it costs more money. Ultimately, that one suffers from diminishing returns.

I wanted to introduce redeploy in the Z6 Riot Control Baton, a card that has seen criminal underuse as of late, and provide a way for Tarkin to get damage out of his dice once the Sister goes down, as she's almost always (rightfully) the first target. It becomes an obvious overwrite for Maul's Lightsaber once it seems that she's destined to go down.

All In should be obvious with all of Tarkin's focus sides, the crazy number of dice you can have by turn 2, and the ability to still end the chain with a Force Speed special in order to get off a power action.

Scorched Earth has been a crazy MVP, always coming out for at least 4-5 damage from hand, and providing a late-game swing every time I play it.

Still considering what I might be able to drop in order to afford Rise Again, since, as I said, the only games I lose are when they target the Sister first.

Still a work in progress/labor of love, but I really do enjoy this list.

First of all I love the name. Second I would not use the Sith Holocron because you can only use its ability to play Force Lightning, Force Illusion, and Force Speed. Which playing force speed and force illusion with it is not worth it so you pretty much can only use it to play force lightning. Finally I think If you are playing with Seventh Sister - Agile Inquisitor you kind of have to play with the ID9 Seeker Droid. so perhaps you could take out the sith holocron and put the id9 seeker droids in.

Also since you wouldn't want the Force Lightning since it could not be on Tarkin perhaps you could put in two Rocket Launchers for end game.

Holicron is a must

@Razelll, thanks for all the comments! I should mention that this is at least the fifth iteration of this deck. I began with the full Sith Holocron package (Specifically, Lightning, Mind Probe, and Throw at first. Then trying Push and Lightning only), but the issue becomes that if I don't see a Holocron, the deck falls apart. Far too inconsistent.

I then tried a version with no holocron and more inexpensive upgrades for die saturation, but found that not enough damage dice = the deck falling apart once the sister went down, every time. Again, too inconsistent. And with Vandalize becoming the staple it is, I can't have the deck depend so fully on two easily removable upgrades.

There were many sub-versions of these as well. Fragmentation Grenade became a staple because of how inexpensive it is and how high the upside can be.

Like @SillyJedi said, I have found that the Holocron is a must. First of all, it's free, and it's an extra die. Secondly, I'm as often looking for the focus side to increase the impact of my All In plays as I am the special to cheat in upgrades. It gives me several paths to my win condition, and expands the things I want to see in my opening hand.

I don't think this list is perfect yet (especially considering that I still don't own any Ancient Lightsabers) but it has been FAR more consistent and harder for the opponent to predict. ID9 Seeker Droids have come out because of the very low 1/6 damage side (of course there's a 1/6 focus as well), even though their upside is high, I found I'd have to use too many dice to make it work, and then instead of a dice avalanche that is difficult to mitigate, I've suddenly got just a few high impact dice that are much more prone to removal.

Ideally, I want to see Force Speed, Maul's Lightsaber, and Vibroknife on the Seventh Sister - Agile Inquisitor, and try to keep a Z6 Riot Control Baton in hand to overwrite the Maul's Saber for when she's about to go down.

Also, if you want to try this list, NEVER UNDERESTIMATE HOW IMPORTANT THE LATE-GAME CLAIM CAN BE! Scorched Earth can only be played if you have the battlefield and it can be a complete blowout card. Every time I've played it after round 4, it either won the game straight out, or provided a huge unexpected swing.

And if you guys do some testing of your own, let me know how you would fit Rise Again in here. I'm considering removing The Best Defense...

ALSO, I'm considering swapping the battlefield for Outer Rim Outpost - Nal Hutta, although this deck is not super prone to beating to the claim, I have some decent shield hate already with Vibroknife and Intimidate, and extra money + digging for my combo cards might be better.

Dave, I'm with you man. Love this combo but get really frustrated with inconsistency. Holochron package is too based in luck for sure. I'm not sure this deck is fast enough to benefit from Outer Rim Outpost - Nal Hutta more than your opponent would. Tough call.

Thoughts on cutting something for It Binds All Things to bring cost down? I typically find i'm using a focus on a chance cube rather than focusing to damage.

Dave Sharona 601

My worry with It Binds All Things is that it kind of calls “hey all my upgrades are blue”, so it makes the Kylo2 matchups harder.

And it also does kind of the same thing as the full holocron: if I don’t hit it, it dramatically slows down play.

So my first few runs with this list have been very very positive. More testing to come

I am a big fan of Mos Eisley Spaceport - Tatooine as a battlefield for this one - you have so many 0 cost upgrades, allows you to move over a holocron if needed, more likely to help you than opponents
