I have won a store tourney the time I took it out for a spin. The deck is remarkably consistent, and with all the defenses it takes some time for your opponent to kill all your guys. Utilize this time to build up a fleet to overwhelm them. I don't play any of the cards that speed up the deck, you won't claim the BF ever so no use trying to be quicker. Own the slow and max out every turn. Don't be afraid to resolve resources turn 1 and drop 3 vehicles turn 2. Rolling out a Falcon or Uwing multiple times a turn is very deadly and the Y wing was surprisingly amazing for me. I have been tweaking this list for quite some time and really think this build is easily t1.5. Early builds I used Rookie Pilot but foind in playtesting you want to not roll him out early to maximize his ability, but that goes against have dice in the pool for Loth-Cat and Mouse and I equip chance cube to that char and you want it out in pool prior to rolling out Maz Kanata - Pirate Queen.
