Took Han Snap to an 18 person event at Your hobby Place in WVA. Had a lot of fun with it. Here is a break down of the games.

Round 1 vs eMaz/eBaze - Baze came out shooting hard and pounding on Snap. Han fired back at Baze. Using Carban Chamber slowed Baze down, but Snap died first. Han was able to roll in and use fast hands to drop Baze. Second chance was key to keeping Han alive as Maz had quite a few guns on her. Planetary Uprising basically won the game at that point, as Han was too tough to kill and the sustained damage from Planetary meant he had to claim early, so I could re-roll into damage or he didn't claim, lost a die and took 2 damage. Win 1-0

Round 2 vs eJabba/eUnkar - This match worried me since my deck is intentionally slow. He managed a crime lord on Unkar, but wasn't able to roll special before I killed him. The biggest struggle was with his money. I was trying to keep it in check, as he was pretty flush. Once Unkar fell it was pretty smooth sailing, got 2 Planetary's into play and was easily able to kill Jabba. Ended with about 6 cards total in hand and deck. Win 2-0

Round 3 vs eKrennic/Unkar - Another mill match up. This one revolved heavily on the battle field as Carbon freeze was locking down essentially two dice from Krennic. Game was a nail bitter until I ditched a card to re-roll Han's dice and rolled 3 for 1, 3 for 1, 3 on DL-44. And another gun on Snap to boot. My opponent just sat there for a second and was like, how do I stop that? Unkar died, and Krennic took 7. The planetary's did the rest of the heavy lifting. Win 3-0

Round 4 vs eUnkar,9's, FO - Game was sort of close, 9's was wreaking havoc, even with Han and Snap limiting his money. Han was sitting on a second chance and I had 1 in hand, when my opponent used Unkar, pulled the 2nd chance, and all of a sudden could fund all the damage sides on 9's that cost money. Han died even with 2nd chance and Snap was pretty screwed. Lost 3-1

Ended swiss in 3rd place. We were going to cut to top 4, but it wasn't a sanctioned event, and a lot of people ended 3-1, so we cut to top 8.

Top 8 vs Emo Twins - Turn 1, Vader and Kylo killed Snap. Seriously. Vader took 2-3 damage in response. Over the next two turns I plinked away at Vader, controlled his dice and dropped Planetary. Second chance #1 kept Han alive long enough to kill Vader. Second Chance allowed Han to bring Kylo to 7 hp. It was a lot of back and forth, but my opponet made a play mistake. With 2x Force Speed and a Force throw on Kylo he resolved Kylo's dice. leaving han at 2. I checked the math and just claimed. His showing dice had only 1 possible damage (I never rolled in Han since the throw was sitting on special). He stared the board realizing all I had to do was start the next round and claim and conceeded. Tight game, I think he should have won. but I went on.

Top 4 vs eKrennic/Unkar - Same opponent as round 3. This game was the first all day that I didn't win the battlefield. But on turn 2, I played New Orders and Claimed, locking Krennic out a full turn. Snap was nearly dead from Krennic, but I played field medic and killed him. With Krennic down, it was pretty easy to kill Unkar with Planetary.

Finals vs eUnkar,9's, FO - This game was not close. Even with my money lock downs, and 9s only ever getting his own die on turn 1, he rushed and killed me. 9s dropped flame throwers, rocket launchers, vibronucklers. At one point he had so much spare cash he played Slave 1. On an unrelated note, I decide 9s is a butthead. Lost badly in the finals. But still ended up 2nd place.

So Loth-Cat was a bit dead. I never wanted to let my opponent pick a die to remove. Negotiate is better. Overkill was interesting. Let me burn down a few opponents. Not positive its worth it though.
