So left my Phasma and Emo kids decks at home on accident and ended up throwing this together with what I had on hand at the Guardtower Store Championship in Columbus, OH today. Got crazy lucky and went 4-1 in swiss. Beat a Poe/Maz in the last round to squeak into the #4 slot. Yay a Phasma play mat finally! Lost to the same Poe/Maz in the finals as my luck and deck fell flat on it's face finally. I crime lorded two 3 character decks (poor poor Stormtrooper), and only lost to a eRey/ePoe in round 1. Vibro knife got eJabba with 3 shields on him and 4 shields showing in the pool. I'd add in confiscate in place of Friends in High places x2, and a second blackmail for vibroknucklers, or go with a cunning. Got crazy lucky this is a tier 2 decks at best but can catch people off guard. Had 12 resources going into round 2 one game. Deck has very little mitigation, you need fast hands plus milling their hand down so they can't reroll. Have to be very smart when you do use Electroshock or Prized Possession. Thanks to Guardtower for hosting a free store championship, that was awesome.

Ace in the Hole didn't get played even once for a Crime Lord, I did chuck a few with blackmail or vibroknucklers when I was digging for a Crime Lord. Same with Friends in High Places I use it to dig once I'm in position for Crime Lord, more control would be better. My Kind of Scum suprised me, it was worthless before fast hands, now it was making me 2-4 credits a game plus turning off all the 1 cost events for my opponent. |
I play very similar deck, it can be fun and even annoying to the opponent sometimes :) I do not play Prized Possession nor Datapad, agree on adding Cunning and switching the Vibroknucklers for 2nd Blackmail. I found myself using Ace in the Hole in only 1 game out of ~10 and even there it was quite a desperate move which didn't help as I ended short 1 resource to Crime Lord opponents last character before he killed me in the next round. I play only 1 in the deck and I'm considering dropping that one as well.
A bit more dice control is always good and I like to play at least 1 Cheat to be able to get back a card I need.
