Played against this deck in Belgium today,

Works really nice, this melee approch of jango is really nice too. And if you don't get melee, you still got those 2 ranged sides on Jango so it's all good on the damage sides !

About Kylo, well, he's like Rey, not fantastic, but (fortunatly) they're pretty cheap and easy to match with everyone.

Nice little deck, i'll have to try that ! those gaffi's sticks are really nice, one of the best melee weapons in the game, the special is crazy good ! "i remove this 1 melee, to deal 3 damage !" it's even stupidly crazy good and the redeploy is like Caviar on a Russian boat !

Still, i would put 2x Electrocute wich is a crazy good yellow card for controling dices. As dice control is such a bunker in this game. Requires ressources but can save from a lot of trouble.

Good job anyway.

Cheers

Aorakis, thanks for the input.

I wholly agree with you on the Electroshock, I was just generally assuming more experienced players are gunning for Jango first, and with Cunning already relying on his existence, I wanted to be cautious before including more yellow requirements.

It's wholly possible I mesh them in down the line.

Hope the dice rolls are good in Belgium, Cheers

Haha, yeah the dice rolls today were ok first round, then not really the second, then re-okay on 3rd and 4th ^^

But tonight i played on TableTop and i had so many terrific and bad rolls.. I think it's just a new world record ! :D

I'm gonna build a version of this deck soon, i have to try that out.

Also working on a Finn-Ackbar Gunslingers deck.

HOw do you like cuning on jango ? Don't you found it like a waste slot ? And how about those 2 "on the hunt" ? I put one of those in my deck, but i barely find the time to play them.

One thing is for sure, backup muscle are so crazy good and it's a real shame that "Light side" can't have them too... Don't quite understand why... Shields ? It's a bit... unfair i think ! ^^

Last thing that i wanted to mention, is that blue offer some good control cards too even if here you don't put many of those.

last question, how do you like The Speeder and Prized possession ? Are those not too hard to pay ?

Cheers, and may the Roll be with you ! ;)

Hello again my Belgian friend,

I'm a big fan of Ackbar, my wife has been running an Ackbar, 2-Hired Gun, play the odds casual deck that is just a blast to play. I haven't had the best luck fitting Finn into decks, but I want to. It's just harder for me to piece hero decks together I do believe.

I actually find the cunnings to be great as long as I treat them as options. They allow me to press harder if I'm getting some traction with Kylo's special, if an opponent is holding on to some two or more resource cards, more often than not though, it allows me to push out more control of my choosing. I'm often trying to dump a lot more upgrades on Kylo to beef him up and make him seem like an equal target to Jango, which he indeed can be. I often push some cunning early to make use of other force upgrade specials, and then later overwrite to prized possession if someone has gone full tilt on Kylo. And at the end of the day, I'm still pretty warm on the Speeder Bikes, they're just so wonderful, but they haven't been firing perfectly with the deck all the time. So cunning is also there to use that special without the actual activation of the bike itself if I'm looking for action efficiency.

Oh, On the Hunt, I'd sing you a beautiful metal love ballad if I could. I'd pour out a lovely Belgian Tripel to its sweet golden name. One of my favorite starts is a Sith Holocron for Jango and an On the Hunt for Kylo. It gives me some pay removal for following turns before I get all the force throws firing, it does negate shields quite often, and all of its sides are useful in this deck as opposed to many others. It serves me well, and I have no problem turning it into a cheaper gaffi stick, or a force power to Kylo at the drop of the hat, because it was just one resource. It's one of my favorite cards, but it's style of play just speaks to me. So utilitarian.

Backup is just bonkers. I really don't think there's anything else to be said about it. I do sometimes have trouble finding space for it in some decks because of its lack of longevity, but in pretty much every jango deck, just in case your opponent delays, it jives so well.

I think I ended up responding to your last question before I got to reading it! Silly me.

It's been a pleasure to correspond with you, may you be one with the roll!
