This is looks like a fun deck but it was in the top 8 in the local Store championship with a weeker version. I think the best way to use a Pondo deck is using the advantage given by symbols. If you have a special side with Poe you may turn immediately another die to that side and resolve it. You can deal heavy damage this way, if you are able to play Poe Dameron's Blaster in the first round, you will be golden.
