This is my favorite villain deck of Legacies meta. It's the version of the deck I've settled on for the time being.

I'd been wanting to try a Thrawn Talzin build, then saw the Destiny Council do well with it at Fargo, and based my build around their original framework. Thanks for the early inspiration!

This deck generates great money with Thrawn. The mitigation/healing card-pool is minimal at 9 cards. (you could consider law and order, and force illusion, mitigation too though, I suppose). Additionally, this deck also has Thrawn - Master Strategist (obviously), whom can keep opponents in check with his ability too.

Talzin almost always dies first as she's lower health, more threatening damage-wise, and offers a lot of consistency. Hence, I limited the number of "spot a blue character" cards to 4.

Noteable omissions & inclusions: No Chance Cube's. I've never had a game where i felt the deck didn't generate enough resources on it's own. Chance cube nets you 2 resources. So do Thrawn's dice...

1 Rise Again because in many some cases people can burst down talzin fast, so once she's gone, it's a dead card. I've had it play well for me before, but often you're getting ko'd too fast to win, or you're ramping and combo'ing them to death and it's necessary.

2 Rocket Launcher and 1 Force Wave. Force wave is awesome but blue character only, and not as ideal once your opponent is down to one character.

No Snare. I found this card to be beneficial way too infrequently.

More mitigation in general: Against high aggro decks I can feel like I need more mitigation, but in general the amount of upgrades included allows you to ramp, and the inclusion of 2x Tactical Mastery and 2x Three Steps Ahead allows you to close the deal on big damage, without your opponent being able to mitigate.

I'd love to hear if any of you Thrawn/Talzin players have found other cards to be auto-includes, and why. Additionally I'd like to hear if there are any you've found overly poor to be included, and why. Let me know if you'd like rational behinds any other includes and/or omissions.

Thanks for checking out the deck!
