I had been a big proponent and player of eLeia / eAckbar before the 'It's a Trap' nerf. So now I'm trying something a little different. This is one of three options I've been kicking around for an upcoming tournament. (The other two should also be published.)

Finally, this is the only Villain deck I've been testing. It's also the one with the heaviest focus on control, which is its dominant strategy. (Though it still seeks to win via damage.) The plan is to mitigate most of your opponent's dice and limit their options by discarding many of the cards from their hand. Just about every card is a control card in some way, with the exception of 'Vibroknife' - and even that still has a discard side.

Anyway, thoughts?

I really wanted to make this deck work on a semi consistent level and I have tried around 7 different versions of it. To be honest I had very little success but that was before the new errata.

The route that I followed was that of heavy control of the enemy's dice via blank methods, in order to force a reroll. Also I tried to maximize the effect of Voss's special by using Emperor's Favor, Chance Cube in order to always have plus 2 cards in my hand and upgrades like Temptation and Dark Counsel. Also Boundless Ambition was a must.

I really dont know if this deck can be viable by using this method. Asajj Ventress - Force Assassin is very weak HP wise and you can only protect her with Force Illusion and Ancient Lightsaber.

Fast decks like Sabine Wren - Explosives Expert variants and Cad Bane - Vicious Mercenary will most probably destroy this deck.

Some feedback for your deck is that, I really dont know if High Ground will help you because this deck is kinda slow so you will not claim that much. Also I would switch Subjugate with a Sound The Alarm or another removal/control card like Manipulate.

Completely agree with @Repulsar. I've playing an eQuinlan/eSeventh with success in TTS. which you can see here: swdestinydb.com

Seventh Sister - Agile Inquisitor has more health than Asajj Ventress - Force Assassin, an extra die, and when you play a ID9 Seeker Droid the game goes bananas (if you manage to play 2 then you basically do whatever you want)

If you have dice with sides, Dark Presence is an autoinclude

I agree that Seventh Sister - Agile Inquisitor is a better partner.

But I also agree that Asajj Ventress - Force Assassin is really fun to play with and that this is a cool deck regardless.

Have you tried eSeventh/eDooku? It tends to run the same way but lasts longer and has more punch.
