This deck was presented on the Knights of Ren podcast by Jay, who took it to a large CA store championship and placed in the Top 8, and also decisively won a Q3 kit tournament with it.
This is a unique take on Luke Skywalker/Rey that Knights of Ren and Artificery collaborated on, which utilizes Luke's card drawing ability and lots of cheap events to mitigate dice and play damage tricks. Please listen to their podcast to get more detailed discussion of the specific card choices and interactions.
I made one update based on suggestions in the podcast which is to take out the 1x All In and replace it with Determination.
Other suggestions were to take out the 1x Confidence for a 2nd Determination, but I'd like to err on the side of removal before I make the switch. They also suggested that other battlefields such as Secluded Beach are fine if you feel like you give your opponent too much of an advantage with Maz's Castle if you don't claim.
